Both ourselves and our Makers process your personal data. Each entity is regarded as an individual and autonomous ‘controller’. Consequently, our Makers are accountable for the data they handle while facilitating our Platform. For instance, should a Maker inadvertently disclose your name and email address while fulfilling another order, the responsibility for this unauthorized disclosure lies with the Maker, not with us.

We process your personal data when you create an account on our Platform

We use:

• your first and last name;

• your email address; and

• your purchase history. 

We use these personal data to:

• create and maintain your account.

We can use these personal data because:

• we need these personal data to perform our agreement with you.

We keep these personal data: 

• as long as your account is activated. We will delete your personal data within one (1) month after the deactivation of your account. If your account has been inactive for two (2) years, we will delete your account after sending you a reminder.

We process your personal when contact us via our Platform or social media pages

We use:

• your contact details; and

• any other personal data included in the message.

We use these personal data to:

• respond to your message; and

• improve our services in response to the message.

We can use these personal data because: 

• we have a legitimate interest in doing so. Essentially, we need to process these personal data so we can reach out and assist you based on you comments or inquiries, and to enhance our services in response to the feedback we receive.

We keep these personal data for: 

• as long as necessary to deal with comment/inquiry. Information you made public on social media pages can often be deleted by yourself.

We process your personal data when you purchase a product on our Platform

• your billing address and payment information;  

• your delivery address; and

• information about the transactions made on our Platform, such as the shop name, items purchased, the Maker’s name, purchase price and date of the transactions.

• process your purchase. 

We can use these personal data because: 

• we need these personal data to perform our agreement with you.

We keep these personal data for: 

• seven (7) years after you made the purchase. 

We process your personal data when become a Maker on our Platform

We use:

• Your shop name; 

• Your first name; 

• Your profile photo; 

• Your bio; 

• Your email address and Whatsapp number; 

• Vacation mode announcements; and

• Shop policies. 

We use these personal data to:

• create your shop page, that is accessible to all users of our Platform. 

We can use these personal data because:

• we need these personal data to perform our agreement with you.

We keep these personal data: 

• as long as your account is activated. 

We process your personal data when you subscribe to our newsletter

We use:

• your email address. 

We use these personal data to:

• send you our newsletter and keep you informed about our Platform.

We can use these personal data because:

• you gave us your consent to do so (by subscribing via our Platform); or 

• we have a legitimate interest to do so, because you purchased a product on our Platform and did not opt out from receiving our newsletters.

We keep these personal data: 

• until you unsubscribe from our newsletter. In every newsletter there is a link via which you can unsubscribe.

We work with third parties who process personal data on our behalf.

Even so, we continue to uphold responsibility for ensuring your data’s protection during such processing. We use these third parties, for example, for:

• email management and communication;

• data storage;

• invoicing;

• accounting;

• sending newsletters; and

• customer relation management.
